The banknote protected by a watermark in the form of a Romanesque arch, copying the image on the front side and the number "10".

Revers:
Architectural style: Romanesque.
Image of the bridge was carried out from a bridge near the city of Avignon (Pont Saint Benezet). The Bridge in the Romantic style was built in 1178 and its history is covered with legends. One shepherd offered his services for the construction of the bridge, but no one trusted him in this. To prove his abilities, the magistrate asked the shepherd to remove a hard rocky boulder from the yard of the castle. If Shepherd coped with this task, he could then get lucrative order to build a bridge. The next day, the lump disappeared. Thus, the shepherd built Pont Saint Benezet. However, how the rocky lump disappeared from the courtyard of the castle, nobody has an idea since then.
Comments:
Banknote Design made by an artist of the National Bank of Austria, Robert Kalina and selected from among 44 entries at 3 December 1996 by consultation of the European Monetary Institute.
All euro banknotes have the signature of the current President of the ECB. Director appointed for a term of eight years.
The following islands and overseas territories are shown on the back of euro banknotes: the Azores, the Canary Islands, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Madeira, Martinique and Reunion.
Security thread with repeating text "10 EURO» passes to the left of center. Holographic stripe width is 10 mm on the front right side. Depending on the angle of view on it, you can see the symbol of the euro, a rating of 10 or word «EURO» in Latin and Greek alphabets.
On each of the seven denominations of Euro banknotes has six-character code which contains information about the printing, which is printed on a banknote. Code looks cliche «G013B6», where the first letter identifies the printing press, the next three digits identify the number pad. For example, "013" refers to the 13th printing plate printing. The fifth and sixth elements of the code are respectively the row and column location on the banknote cliche. So, when this bill was on the code pad in the second row, sixth column.
Attention: Code cliche in the bill should not coincide with the country code!
