Preview Gothic stone bridge and a map of Europe.
Probably the image of the bridge is taken from the Gothic bridge on the river Lot Cahors (Pont Valentre, Cahors, 1378). This bridge with defensive towers, gave protection to the claimants of taxes from their pursuers. In addition, around the bridge soars mysterious story, associated with the construction of facilities. In order to begin to build a bridge, master builder had to sell his soul to the devil. After the completion the devil demanded tribute. However, the smart master asked him to provide the latest service: the devil had to carry water in a sieve. Since he failed, he was left without a masters soul. And yet, the devil avenged him. Each night, after the completion, from the tower structure chipping one stone and fell into the water. Once again, builders have to insert the stone into place and they turned for advice to the sage. So, to this day, one of the stones lining is designed as devils sculpture. Since then, the stone tower remains firmly in its place - the evils spirit, Beelzebub, appeared relaxed.
Comments:
Banknote Design made by an artist of the National Bank of Austria, Robert Kalina and selected from among 44 entries at 3 December 1996 by consultation of the European Monetary Institute.
All euro banknotes have the signature of the current President of the ECB. Director appointed for a term of eight years.
The following islands and overseas territories are shown on the back of euro banknotes: the Azores, the Canary Islands, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Madeira, Martinique and Reunion.
Security thread with repeating text "20 EURO» passes to the left of center. Holographic stripe width is 10 mm on the front right side. Depending on the angle of view on it, you can see the symbol of the euro, a rating of 20 or word «EURO» in Latin and Greek alphabets.
On each of the seven denominations of Euro banknotes has six-character code which contains information about the printing, which is printed on a banknote. Code looks cliche «G013B6», where the first letter identifies the printing press, the next three digits identify the number pad. For example, "013" refers to the 13th printing plate printing. The fifth and sixth elements of the code are respectively the row and column location on the banknote cliche. So, when this bill was on the code pad in the second row, sixth column.
Attention: Code cliche in the bill should not coincide with the country code!
