Uzbek cut-off coupon (Uzbek: O'zbekiston kesma kuponi / ЎзBEkiston kesma kuponi) - cut-off coupons printed on one sheet were used in Uzbekistan from January 1992 until the introduction of the sum-coupon in November 1993 (before the final date cancellations, were used for a short time in parallel with the sum-coupon), to preserve and protect the domestic consumer market and create conditions for the sale of goods only to citizens of the republic.

Used in the sale of food and non-food products using coupons, as an addition to the Soviet and Russian rubles, in a 1:1 ratio.

Introduced by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of January 2, 1992 No. 1 “On the protection of the consumer market of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1992” from January 10, 1992. Previously, the Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers dated November 12, 1991 No. 289 “On measures to protect the interests of the republic and its population in connection with price liberalization” indicated the advisability of introducing coupons from December 15, 1991. The resolution strictly regulated the procedure for issuing coupons to the population and the list of consumer goods to be sold using coupons. Coupons were issued at the place of main work, study, service, receipt of pensions, transfers by post offices and relevant banks.

Payment with coupons was made simultaneously with payment for the cost of goods in rubles, by cutting off the equivalent amount of coupons from the card. Retail trade enterprises were required to collect coupons along with revenue, in a ratio determined by local representative bodies. Cards with coupons were issued with a nominal value of 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 and 500 rubles. The validity period of the cards was set for 1 quarter. Subsequently, the period of validity of coupon cards was extended quarterly by special resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers.
