Minsk Sports Palace is an indoor sports arena, located in Minsk, Belarus. The arena seats 4,842 spectators and opened in 1966.
It hosts various indoor events and used to serve as the home of HC Dynamo Minsk, of the KHL, before Minsk-Arena was completed. It also hosted Miss Supranational 2013 on September 6.
The draft of the National Sports Palace was designed by a team of the institute "Belgosproekt": the main architect Filimonov S.D., architect Malyshev V.N., and the chief engineer of the project Korzhevsky V.V. Construction lasted from September 1963 to May 1966. The project featured the asymmetrical arrangement of the grandstands and the concert stage on the opposite side of the playground. This decision, coupled with the use of prefabricated grandstands, allowed to transform the arena into a concert hall. The project became a model and was reimplemented in Chelyabinsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Volgograd, and Vilnius. In 1984 the Palace of Sports was included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of the BSSR.
In the 1960s - 1980s the largest state events were held at the Sports Palace. A lot of allied championships and international tournaments in wrestling, fencing, boxing, weightlifting, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics and other sports were also held there, including matches in the championship hockey club of the Union Dynamo and handball SKA. The Palace was also a venue of the largest concerts and the Communist Party meetings.
In 1990 the Palace premises were leased for various exhibition and sporting events. The stepwise reconstruction of the Palace of Sports was carried out in 2001-2004 including the updated building facades, replaced refrigeration, lighting and sound equipment, introduction of an air conditioning system, new seats, new electronic bulletin board.
Large Arena:
Main arena of the Palace of Sport is a universal sport and entertainment room with a hockey box sizes 61x30 meters, which is a few hours transforms into a venue for other sporting event or concert. Total capacity of the stands is as follows: in the sporty version - 3,311 visitors (including the main grandstand - 3074 seats, small podium - 237 seats), in concert version - 4,500 spectators.
In addition to the main arena of the Palace has a fitness room, gym/fitness facilities, 4 dressing rooms, domestic, administrative, technological and other facilities that provide vital functions of the building. In the main lobby of the Palace of sports are 6 closets for spectators, 2 hockey store ammunition, and on the ground floor - the club "Overtime".
Small Arena:
In 1999, the indoor training arena was built behind the Sports Palace. In addition to the hockey rink (61 m. x 30 m.) and stands for 300 spectators, there is a light board, referees, utility rooms for players, coaching rooms, a sports gym, a room for medical equipment and technological facilities that ensure the functioning of the building. Small Sports Palace arena is used mainly as a platform for hockey and figure skating training sessions.

Raubichi (Belarus Raўbіchy, Tsentr alіmpіyskay padryhtoўkі Raўbіchy.) - Republican center of Olympic training in winter sports. Built in 1974.
Establishment "Republican center of Olympic training in winter sports "Raubichi""is located about 20 kilometers from Minsk and from the National airport "Minsk-2", in close proximity to the highway Minsk-Vitebsk.
The name "Raubichi" sports complex inherited placed next to the village. The territory on which the sports complex, often called the "Belarusian Switzerland", because it lies in an unique and unrepeatable nature. This picturesque hills left by glaciers, and crystal clear waters of the river Usyazha and blue mirror Raubicheskogo reservoir. One of the most picturesque hills crowned Krestogorskaya church, which now houses a museum of folk arts and crafts and a concert hall.
The history of the Olympic sports complex "Raubichi" began in 1972. International Federation of biathlon was decided to hold the World Cup Biathlon in January 1974 on the territory of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Before the State Committee on Sports of the USSR was a question of choosing a site for construction of a complex for international competitions and training process biathletes and skiers. The main criteria when choosing a database were: mild winter climate (according to the rules of the competition temperature is below minus 20 degrees Celsius), cross-country, recommended proximity to the airport and railway station. Given all these circumstances, it was decided to hold the World Cup Biathlon in Byelorussia. The remoteness of the airport and Minsk about 20 km., the most favorable conditions for the training process, magnificent terrain and mild, snowy winters influenced the choice of the village "Raubichi" as a base for the construction of the new complex.
The complex has everything necessary for living and training of athletes - track, 20 km long, 2 shooting ranges of 30 units and a spare 15, judges' pavilion (for broadcasting), 2 hotels, saunas, gym. Commissioning of the sports complex "Raubichi" was held January 24, 1974 and January 26 has started the World Biathlon Championship. Construction of the complex was made in a short time - in just 1 year since the start of the projecting!

From 3 kickers in Raubichi (K-24, K-52 and K-74), opened in 1974, there was only the biggest, which adjoins a small amphitheater with bleachers. Two others were dismantled (were in poor condition).
Director of "Raubichi" center Andrei Astashevich spoke about the prospects of a single nedemontirovannogo ramp located on the premises. According to him Raubichi character after the reconstruction of the tower will be a review for the tourists.
