Description
Watermark:
Barely visible vertical lines.
Avers:
The lower half of the banknote consist of the numerous cows.
Shepherd blowing the horn bark, two sheep and a cow are standing nearby.
On banknote - Estonian shepherd blowing into the birch-bark horn (or truuba). On the photo - the traditional birch-bark horn of Estonian shepherd, made by Estonian master Kaadi Koobas, island Saaremaa (from Estonian postcard printed in beginning of 1980s).
Centered is an inscription: "Riigikassatäht on Eesti Vabariigi piirides seaduslik maksuabinou" - "Banknotes of the Treasury of the Republic of Estonia are issued within the limits of legitimate tax measures."
Denominations in numerals are on the right and left sides.
Revers:
In the center is farmer (peasant), holding a horse by the bridle.
On each side are the cornucopias.
Under left cornucopia is an inscription: "Riigikassa tähtede eest vastutab eesti riik.." - "Treasury is responsible for the banknotes of the state of Estonia.."
Under right cornucopia is an inscription: "..kogu oma varandustega ia sissetulekutega" - "..and guarantee all of their income"
Denomination in numerals are in top corners, in words centered.

Banknote paper is made in Tervakoski, Finland.
The Finnish mill was founded in 1818. Housing five paper machines, this mill produces an annual capacity of over 100,000 tons of customized papers. In addition to thinprint papers, it also produce paper for tobacco-related products, release base paper, electrical insulation paper.
